Other kitcar chat / now I know why!
« on: August 23, 2013, 07:08:07 PM »
Now I know why DNA's are so popular. Nearly offered 24k for a v12 Countach replica on ebay, turns out it has no receipts for chassis, and is still registered as a jaguar xjs!! DVLA said that it will be issued with a certificate of destruction at some point soon, shame as the guy has spent 17k on a rebuild :o

Panel changes make life so much easier!! Ah well back to the web! :'(

Just put my scudo on pistonheads along with all the others! 21000 is optomistic I know but hoping for about 19500. With full mot just serviced and 6 months tax. Full service history. That aside, if anyone else is selling theirs I also put mine on car and classic, 1 month and  6 photos for free!  :) good luck to all trying to sell.

5cudo Chat / dvla description
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:08:48 PM »
It's only taken Six weeks but finally got my V5 back now reclassified as a 'Ford dna f430 replica', and they didn't even quibble no demand for a vehicle inspection or anything. I know it's a bone of contention, and no one seems to really know how things stand. My concern was that my insurance said ford dna f430 and my v5 said ford cougar, knowing my luck if I banjo the car the insurance would refuse to pay up as the two didn't tally. I anyone else needs any help doing the same just let me know. :)

5cudo Chat / recent scudo sales
« on: May 07, 2013, 08:07:47 PM »
I know money is tight for a lot of people but recently a dna scudo was advertised on eBay for 22k, I had seen it somewhere on this site and it did belong to a dna member. Just wondered if it sold. Trying to find out what would be a realistic asking price. Any ideas views welcome!

5cudo Chat / water trapped in doors!!
« on: March 28, 2013, 06:01:02 PM »
for a change i turned the stereo of while driving through town, and had the window down. Then I noticed it; the unmistakable sound of water sloshing about inside the door! the car was washed last week (jet washer used). I can only assume its  trapped between the old ford door and the new skin. Anyone else had same problem and if so how did you solve it? :'(
