Title: Harrington side screen trim
Post by: argy on November 20, 2019, 09:48:07 AM
I've just taken delivery of a trim kit from the Harrington group along with the bumper and side vent kit.

I'm not even nearly ready to start using any of this yet but looking at the side screen trim it's not immediately obvious how it attaches to the windscreen pillars and then what happens at the top...

The kit didn't come with a top of the windscreen trim and the side screen trim is straight whereas the pillars are curved so I'm assuming that there's some fiddling to do. I also assume that the trim fits underneath the windscreen and pillar rubber strips.

Has anyone had the pleasure of fitting these and if so have you any guidelines and photo's that you can share please?

Russell

I got a fair amount of stuff from Group Harrington, but as for the windscreen surround I bought the proper BMW one from our local BMW dealership. I did however get the lower windscreen trim from Group Harrington

Thanks for your responses,

I spoke to Harrison pointing out the issues with the trim that they supplied. They told me that they have sold these to other DNA builders and they have been fitted without any issues. I haven't broached the issue of returning them yet because I'd like to hear from anyone that has sucessfully mounted a set (or bought a set and given up...).

On the plus side I've contacted my local BMW dealer and they can get me a set of the official BMW bits for around £110, all in which isn't bad.

So, I'm still hunting for anyone that has sucesfully used the Harrington bits???
