Sol's 250 build
«

Hey guys,
just got my z3 and ready to order my kit. The central locking system is useless and I cant lock the car with the keys... has anyone ever had this problem before? I've checked the fuses and they all look fine.
Thx
Sol.

Have you tried reprogramming the keys?

When I changed my mirror, my central locking stopped working. It turned out that the sensor is in the original mirror.
I removed it from the original mirror , connected it up & placed it all behind the dash.

thanks for your help
started stripping the car and hopefully I'll sort out the problem later...
Anyway, the z3 is stripped so just waiting for the kit.
Been looking at dashboard options. Anyone got any recommendations for gauges and/or dashboard. Think I'm getting the dash from coachworks but undecided about spending big on the gauges or just getting some other Veglia ones from eBay. Thoughts?
