Number plate lights
« on: April 02, 2020, 05:07:55 PM »
Hi
Has anyone changed the whole fitment for the number plate lights ?
One of my bulbs is very dim.
Are they standard or will another make fit ?
Mine seems to have been stuck in with Stixall and am afraid of breaking it whilst trying to get the bulb out.
So thought I would replace them both with LED's.
Cheers

Hi,
Seems like when it was built, it wasn't thought that a bulb might need changing at some point.
I got one out, so could see the set up.
Was going to buy two new assemblies, but I'm not even going to attempt to get the other one out now I know how to get the bulbs out.
2 new ones on the way.
OXO

don't buy the cheap Chinese ones, osram make the most reliable leds, they're expensive for a reason!

Well, I'm into the 11th year of the project, could it be ready for Stoneleigh 2020, doubt it. The longest DNA build ever
