250 build video
« on: April 28, 2018, 07:28:52 PM »
Does anyone have a link or a copy of the build video as it has been removed from youtube.

There were a few ideas I wanted to try on my current build of a totally different car.

I have an off line copy on my PC. Maybe I can burn it to DVD or something for you?

Hi Jez,
can I be cheeky and ask you to burn me one at the same time please, let me know how many beer tokens I will owe you and I will sort out with you at Stoneleigh.
I am still looking for a low mileage Z3 2.8 manual.
Brian gave me a link but since my computer went down I cant seem to find it.
Thanks in advance MADMAN

If you go to John James 250 GT and look for page 3 then scroll down to September the 26th 2017. there is a video of a blue 250 GT. Just Brian showing you the car. As far as I know there never was a build video for the 250 hope this helps John James

There was a build video that was about 30 minutes long.
I showed where to cut the rear wings, where to cut the holes in the doors any many other tips.
It was very well done.

Thanks again Jez.

Thanks Firefly, just what I wanted.

Jez, would you mind burning me a copy still? I don't have a dvd writer and I'm frightened of the link disappearing again.

Thanks in advance

I’d forgotten about this vid.  Must be the longest time Brian has ever gone without swearing.  Great to watch again.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.
