Great Western Classic Car Show 10/11 Feb 2018
« on: November 24, 2017, 02:37:35 PM »
Following the Classic Vehicle Restoration Show, we have been invited to have a stand at this show. It's at the same venue (Bath & West Showground BA4 6QN) on the Sat & Sun 10/11 Feb 2018.
The format of this show is pretty much the same as the November show. We have a "stand" which is inside (either hall or marquee) which is heated (and it needs to be). We can get in on the Friday (or early Saturday morning), then the cars are left there until after the show closes on Sunday, though it may be possible to leave after the show on Saturday.
We attended this show in Feb 2017 and Dock Green had an awful lot of interest in his 2Fifty.

If you want to come you'll have to reply here or PM me, there's no set size for our stand as yet, but they're already allocating areas, so we need to let them know soon.
Who's interested?

I've just had confirmation from the organisers that we have a stand at this show, now they would like details of each car that we are displaying.
So, if you haven't let me know already that you would like to attend - this is your final reminder before I return the forms at the end of the week.

Please include the Furrari for this event, 'cos I've booked the hotel already.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

Sir P.  George is a gorilla and Brian is a Orang-Utang.  Both are from the ape family.  They are not monkeys. As they are both replicas they only poo toy stuffing.

Thank you ten pin for organising another great show it was really nice to go to a show where people didn't ask how fast does it go, the people that asked me about the car we're very interested and also there was lots of technical stuff going about and to finally meet a guy who used to service Ferraris in London and he actually worked on the only right-hand drive one he came straight up to me, and said that's not a 250 GT but it's very nice and he was very impressed had a great time talking to him about the cars, and also to meet to other guys that are building 250 GT I'm hoping they will join the forum, Brian has asked me to post a picture or him and George sitting on my car enjoy John James.  8).  8)
