Great Western Classic Car Show 11-12 Feb 2017
« on: December 02, 2016, 11:29:27 AM »
Following the Classic Vehicle Restoration Show, we have been invited to have a stand at this show. It's at the same venue (Bath & West Showground BA4 6QN) on the Sat & Sun 11/12 Feb 2017.
I should find out more details next week, but I expect it to be much the same as the November show.
Who's interested? It'd be really good to have at least one 2Fifty there.

Put the Furrari in for this please.  I will book the Presleigh for the weekend.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

I'll look forward to meeting some of you guys.

6 months too early at least for my 4thirty, but will be good to put faces to forum names.
If it doesn't fit first time, use harsh words...!

Hi - I'm currently free & would love to bring the 250 along.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

OK, I've just spoken to the organiser and he'd love to have us there.
It's more or less the same format as the November show - setup on Friday, show on Sat and Sun ~9:30 to 16:30 etc.
So, if you want to come along and be on the stand - this means inside in the (relative) warm, you'll have to let me know.
At the moment, we've not been allocated a maximum size for our stand, this will happen next week.
Please post on here, and / or send me a PM  by the end of this week if you want to come along.

I'll then need some more details from you about the car etc. so that I can fill in the forms and arrange the car passes and wrist bands. - I'll request that from you via PM's. (PS car passes and wristbands are free for those on the stand.)

Any questions about any of this then please send me a PM and I'll do my best to answer them.

Hi - I'm currently free & would love to bring the 250 along.

That would be great if you could - the 2fifty should be a most appropriate car for a classic show. Hope you're up for talking to a lot of people over the weekend - judging by previous shows.

Tenpin's 360, my West Coast and Dock Green's 250 went.  Very, very cold but we were in a heated hall so it wasn't too bad.  Very busy all day.
The was a Ferrari California in the main hall.  It's paintwork was not a patch on the paint on my West Coast or DG's 250.
Back at the hotel Dock Green managed to drink the place dry of Cardinal Sin bitter.
Monday morning, the view from the hotel was fantastic with the hills and the showground emerging from the mist.

Serious hangover Sunday! Had to ask the public for headache tablets.
