NEWARK & NOTTS SHOWGROUND
At the A46/A17 Junction on the A1, 2 miles north of Newark-on-Trent.
(Postcode: NG24 2NY - Drove Lane)

Day Admission: Adults £10, Children (5–15) £3, Toddlers FREE
Parking: FREE, Camping: FREE, Friday & Saturday.
Show open to the Public: Saturday 10.00am - 5.00pm Sunday 9.30am - 4.30am.

Kit Car Drivers displaying their car inside the showground are admitted from 7.30am each morning at the Exhibitors Entrance. There is no need to book!
Free commemorative plaque + sticker to all Kit Car drivers (while stocks last).

I'll post any other information that I get about the show here, (as well as issue the now expected request for people to attend!).

I,ll be there on the 20th. but I go on hols. early morning on the 21st. looks like I,ll miss another BBQ.

Madman, perhaps its time to admit it - either you really don't like BBQs or, perhaps you prefer your meat uncooked - you know so it's red in colour. Seriously though, we do need to get some better planning from the show organisers which will allow us all to attend!

I enjoy a BBQ (red meat), and cold beer, but I like Greece just a little bit more.

Anyone else going to Newark?

Here's a great opportunity for all of you reading this who've yet to take the plunge and buy a DNA kit. Why not come along to this show and talk directly to the owners who turn up. The opportunity is that you can do this without worrying that DNA will be trying to force you to buy

(not sure that they do force you to buy actually - at times it seems like there's a queue and you have to do the fighting!).
The reason I say this, is that I've heard DNA are not going to be exhibiting at this show (possibly something like one weekend where families come first?

)

So this is our chance for the owners club to put on a good show, have a large number of cars there and wave the flag. btw where is the flag?

I've mailed the organisers and asked for a club space for 6 to 12 cars. Now if we get more....

We'd just have to overflow onto the next door's area!

There's less than 4 weeks to this show - time for people to start saying if they're going. So far we've got Madman's red 430 and my blue 360... Anyone else?

I've had an email back from the organisers thanking us for our entry and stating that they will be in touch shortly. (OK that's not much news, but I am trying to keep you informed!).

Only just over 2 weeks to go....

We've been allocated a space next to the main show hall. If you have a look at www.kitcarshow.co.uk there's a plan there that show the layout of the showground and the club stands. For you diehards, there's also camping which is free, so no excuse for not staying overnight!

Hi Madman,
It is such a shame you won't be there for the bbq in your £5.00 special,when you book your holidays in future look when the kit car shows are first,starting to think you prefer a hotel bed to you £5.00 special!!!!

I think that's the problem - he does check first and then plans his holidays! - either that or he's dissappointed that I won't let him play with his angle grinder on my car!
