well what can i say. if you havent seen these cars in the flesh you must must must do so. the pics simply do not do them any justice. at all. this was the first kit show i've ever been to and the first dna kit i've seen in person, but both the 360s and 430s looked amazing. top jobs guys. (the engine covers just need finishing properly now!)

dazm1050 - did you introduce yourself? I'm sorry, but I don't remember, as you probably saw it was somewhat manic at times, with large groups of people around all 4 cars.

AdamF - sorry only got your post this evening when I got home, I'll try tomorrow, but here's one to be going on with.

There are lots of cars here, both indoors and out. When I got a chance to have a wander outside (to try and find a car that I was told  was in a similar colour to mine - the cheek of it!) the outside area was packed with a wide variety of kit cars. OK that's not surprising as it's a kit car show, I know! I won't bore everyone by listing all the types etc (mind you that's mainly because I couldn't).

I will post some pics of more of the show, when I get a chance over the next few days, in the meantime

In the main halls there were cars for sale, some were even pre-packaged at bargain prices....

So here's three more photos, taken after the show. It's not bad, but we only managed to get four cars together. The four of us had a discussion and we'd like to do a group photo after every show if at all possible.

Stoneleigh is "the biggest kit car show on the planet", but even so, we set our sights on a really do-able target of getting twelve cars together for a group photo.... We're going to continue this on the Stoneleigh thread, but here's the photos from Detling.

DNA really spared no expense (and risk of life and limb) hiring in a crane for the next two photos.

Then we left Detling... Nearly unfortunate, as we dashed off, the one thing that I had to remember to do... I forgot. But a quick stop soon sorted that - I removed the show plates.

Quite what the motorists on the M20 on a bright sunny early evening thought when not one, but four Ferraris (OK 3 red and 1 blue) came past... (Actually it was four Ferraris and the DNA red van!). Then I had to leave the fun and turn off and head for home, the remaining ones continuing on before heading North.

All in all, a very good weekend and thoroughly enjoyable. I didn't manage to lose my voice this time unlike at Exeter, though it was a close run thing.

I will post some more photos from the show over the next couple of days, but only three weeks to Stoneleigh!
