Glad you asked about tyre pressures, I was going to try 28 F & 30 R, I found my Dino, which has similar sized tyres handled better with lower pressures but trial & error I guess. Await replies from other owners.

Tyre pressures.
You can calculate the correct tyre pressures by looking on the side of the tyre and finding the max loading and the max pressure.  From this you can work out the pressure per pound/kilo.  When the car is mobile you can take it to a weighbridge and find the weight at each corner.
As you know how much pressure you need per pound/kilo you can now work out the pressure you need per end.

Or you can use the method most of us use and guess.  :-)
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Have you managed to get the odometer working in the Speedo?
If so was it very tricky?
And finally, can you set the mileage to the correct mileage or do you have to start from zero?

I believe mine is working OK....it reads zero when I switch on the ignition....I presume it will work correctly when the speedo is calibrated. Not had the car rolling since I fitted it so can't say if it works for sure...but should be if it reads I would think.

I suspect it will just have to start from zero, and we will have to note the previous milage.
If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

hi Steve The seats are aftermarket MGB seats that I bought new in vinyl and then stripped the covers off and use them as patterns for my red leather I have mentioned it further back in my build. Also fitted the seats on the Z3 basis which are electric
