Classic Vehicle Restoration Show 4/5 Nov 2017
« on: February 01, 2017, 06:49:03 PM »
The official title for this show is:
Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show
It's organised by Bristol Classic Car Shows

Date:
   4th/5th November 2017, 09:30 to 16:00 each day
Location:
Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 6QN
Web:
   www.carsandevents.com

This is not a kit car show as such, however, Complete Kit Car (CKC) magazine have booked one hall for kit cars - specifically for owners clubs.

If we want we can have a DNAOC stand in the hall, however
 Space is limited
cars cannot leave the hall during show hours (but could leave overnight)
ideally same number of cars for each day, though could be different cars
needs to be a firm commitment to attend

I'm going to need to start filling in forms and confirming our attendance for this show shortly - so who wants to come? (The last couple of years it's been great.)
Please let me know.

Sorry Tenpin, my car will be on SORN from 30th September for interior fit. Probably not back on the road until Stoneleigh next year.
If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

George (the replica Gorilla) and Ferrari Ted ready to set off for the show at Shepton Mallet over the weekend.
George is looking forwards to seeing his friend Brian the Orang Utang. ( JJ’s furry friend).

Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.
