We think the rims will be 16x7 front & 16x8 rear splined hubs - sorting it now (based on experience doing the 250).
Rubber 225/55 & 245/55

Mind you still early days so this could change.

The original had 15" rims with 215/70 all round.

Those look good too. Not accurate to the originals but a great alternative indeed! And the cost of original wheels is - ahem - enough to cure anyone of wanting them :)

Wire wheels on the 250.  100%.     On the Daytona we are moving to an era when alloys were becoming more popular and look more original.   Big plus, they're a lot easier to clean.

Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Going up to Redditchbtomorrow to see the (very early) progress on the 365.

Probably too early for any photos.

A quick update from my trip to Redditch a couple of weeks back…

Brian & Ash are currently working through all the issues with using a Z4 as a donor - "that's wrong", "that doesn't work"

It’s interesting to be a fly on the wall & watch the design process. When they discuss things, you can really see the progress that is being made. I do think the end result could be very special.

A good visit

Dock, it's always exciting to see progress. It's always frustrating when clients have unrealistic expectations of progress through limited appreciation of how bloody long development stuff takes! I bet the boys are grateful for your understanding. :)))))))))

Pretty sure I was a PITA to the guy who did my 240z spyder. That said; 14 months and nowhere near finished was ridiculous imho.

If history is anything to go by, your new baby is going to be phenomenal.

I've got several T-Shirts in the speed of property development!!!!!
Brian & Ash are ahead of where I would currently expect. Don't tell them that.

Mind you it won't stop me pushing where I can, but not at the risk of quality.

Having started my working life in the car industry I can testify that development of a new model was about five years although I believe that's now down to about three.

Keep an eye out on Copart.
Dodi Fayeed'snold 365 Daytona has been stolen and torched. Normally these sort of cars end up on copart but there doesn't seem to be much left.
It could of course be all made up as it was reported today in the Daily Mail.

It happened back in November - I guess the trial must have just finished
