Reluctantly selling my 4Thirty....
« on: July 27, 2016, 04:42:35 PM »
Due to lack of time, I am reluctantly selling my DNA F430 Spyder replica.

It was built by myself for the most part, but I had DNA complete the bodywork for me before letting DNA also paint it. The build was completed April 2015, and since then, I have done less than 1000 miles in it, hence why I am selling, I just dont have time to use it!

I have a complete build diary on the DNA owners forum here for you to look at:

http://www.dnaoc.co.uk/index.php/topic,3264.0.html

Donor is a 2003 MR2 Roadster SMT or Synchronous Manual Transmision, bit like paddle shift, these are rare!
It has MOT until April 2016 and has done approx. 73k miles

The kit is the standard DNA 4Thirty body kit plus ALL the extras (fake calipers, interior, fake engine etc)

I have also purchased a real F430 center console and had this covered in the matching leather of the seats, but I havent had time to fit this in yet. The wing mirror adjuster switch and hazard warning switch have both been extended to fit into it. I also had heated seat pads installed into the seats when done and they also require wiring into the console.

I also had the "Aero Kit" fitted to mine including the rear wing, and to make it look like the Hamann styling, I have had the rear diffuser painted red and the fins painted black, this looks awesome!

Take a look at the pics and the build thread and any questions please ask.

I will throw in EVERY part I have left over for this including a full set of MR2 wheels in case you need to remove  the replica ones for any reason.

One small bad point is that the engine has an intermittent rattle of which I dont know what it is and havent time to investigate, I have priced it appropriately because of this.

I want a quick sale, so I am letting this go for the bargain price for these cars of just £22,000 and would be looking for a very close offer to this price. The car is available near Hull

It's sad to see the stalwarts of the club "retiring" through lack of time.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Hi Phil.

I'm new to this game, but have enjoyed reading your build diary. Best of luck with the sale. It's a beautiful car.
If it doesn't fit first time, use harsh words...!
