Cheers guys  :)
Spent today fitting the rear bins in the car, I knew they would need cutting so they would fit around the access panel but surprised that they didn't need much work to fit. Then cut the rear carpet.  The access panel lids have been made and powder coated ready. Now everything fits I can finish off the bins and get them flocked  8) The interior panels, glove box and speaker box booked in with the trimmer for mid January
Good to see you today Madman 8) 8) 8)

All the water pipes underneath have been powder coated, nuts and bolts zinc plated and refitted. As we had the time better to do it now so basically everything has been removed and refurbished/replaced from the chassis. Also picked up the brake bells which we had anodised in hard black along with the brake adaptor brackets. Had the new rear hub carriers painted in 2 pack black and had the disk rotors zinc plated as well. The front hubs have been clear coated to protect from rusting. Next week the remaining parts can be fitted and hopefully down on all four wheels.

Thems look a bit good they do.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Thanks guys  :) slowly getting there.

The new rear anti rollbar is ready to be fitted. Had the same zinc treatment as the parts to the front. Hope to get most of the rear end on this weekend.

Hi Mark, nice work on the brakes.
A little heads up on the sway bar, the original Mr2 one is fine for the standard 1.8 car, but a slightly stiffer one will help with handling and body roll. It's just one of those little 'tech tips' the down side is pot holes and rough roads really attack the car when a stiffer sway bar is used.
I've got and Audi a8 front sway bar on the front and a 19mm hex bar on the back (due to the 4.2v8 weight) it's not road tested, but around the track the car has hardly any body roll. I think I've got a couple of youtube vids showing the rear swaybar construction and the obvious track vid where you can see how flat it is around the bends.

Kudos on the attention to detail  :)

Well, I'm into the 11th year of the project, could it be ready for Stoneleigh 2020, doubt it. The longest DNA build ever

Hi Darren, yep your right the standard MR2 sway bar would be no good for the job. This one has been designed by Barry. Its wider as the hub carriers are further out direct to the wheels. The sway bar also has adjustable rose jointed drop links so adjustment is not a problem. I.E. harder/softer. Will pm you.

Today the sway bar was fitted along with the new rear sub-frame, again designed by Barry. its an amazing bit of kit, far more sturdier  than the standard and other attempts out there. Its taken well over a year in the making and the quality, design and engineering is unbelievable. Next week the adjustable rose jointed trailing arms are being fitted. So basically once all is fitted the rear of the car is fully adjustable like a track car. For those interested speak to Barry regarding prices for various kit packages. Also the car will be at Stoneleigh inside the hall. I cant take any credit for all the work that's been done. I only had to decide on the colour and finish of the parts ;D
