18-8-2012.   Fun day, sponsored by Argos, for children's cancer charity.
Bit mixed weather, sun in the afternoon.  I think I had more people round the Furrari than any of the trade stands.  It will take me untill Donnington to get the sticky finger prints off.
Only three people worked out what it was. One of them thought I was Berni Eccleston, but then we both use the same wig maker.
Catton park tomorrow.  Here's hoping for good weather.

You'll be taking over from Tenpin as DNA's top promoter soon, lol.

I hope R&B have given you a supply of literature to hand out at all these shows you are attending.

Yes I have a good supply although at does like the fun day I just let people think it's a Ferrari.  If they ask any questions I do tell the truth when asked.

I think I cover a different area to Tenpin.  It would be nice to have a few DNAs together a a show.  I think that would be a show stopper.

Possibly all it needs is a bit of advance notice and planning...
I agree it would be fun to do it. Unfortunately one show I was hoping to attend (Honington Country Fair and Italian Car Show) happens to be on Sun 2nd Sep, which is when we'll all be at Donington, won't we!

I'm in south Staffordshire and have good access to the M6  and M1 north (via the A38). Being in the Midlands we have good access to most parts of the civilised world and even London.
Where do I find out about the shows?  On the wibbly, wobbly web and talking to other exhibitors.  Ill be on the DNA stand at Donnington (keeping Brian out of trouble) with the Furrari.  We can have a chat (with every body else) about 2013 shows.  Today Catton Park.  Tomorrow the world.
