Hi,

I'm new to this forum, but I have been following builds for the past year or so, been very impressed by the level of quality and craftmanship.

I was wondering if a porsche boxster could be used as a donor instead of the mr2? Dimensions are very similiar, but the advantage
of more power and handling, better brakes etc. I find attractive.

Has anyone tried it before?

Cheers B

the boxster wheelbase is nearly 1.5" shorter than an MR2 and the kit with all its returns and size shape etc is designed for the MR2 so it will not fit a boxster which is a nice car but when it gos wrong can cost a lot with things go wrong likwe coil packs £3500 top end rebuild from around £4000 so its probaly not the best donor
