It's never too late! Well, OK, if the show's over it is...  Roll Eyes

At Stoneleigh we're never full! (tempts fate!) Basically, if our allocated space is full, there's always the next door pitch... (ooh, did I say that out loud?)

The more the merrier, how many cars do you think we can get there this year?

I'll be there on the Monday, unfortunately in the Merc 'cos the Furrari is still at the paint shop.  Need to see some interiors and talk to everybody about colours.  Looking forward to talking to some of the characters on this site.

You know Dyslexia is hereditary...?

That's what DNA originally stood for - the National Dyslexia Association...

I did not know that, but I once knew a dyslexic devil worshiper who sold his soul to Santa!

No?  Undecided

Ok,lol.

I'm at home getting a few last minute jobs done and waiting for it to stop raining long enough for me to get the car out for a good wash and polish. It's starting to look like I'll be washing her in the rain and chamois and polish in the garage.

Looking forward to seeing everybody on Sunday and to seeing some new builds. This may be the only show I make until late summer, this year, but at the next show I do you will see some unique changes that I have been planning. Something that Beemaman and I have spoken about on a few occasions, but he is sworn to secrecy.   Lips sealed

See you all at the weekend.

Beany Grin

Oh Furrari, what do you mean you want to speak to people about colours? As Wiz Kalifa would say, "Black & Yellow, Black & Yellow!". That is my arrival and departure song at every show now, thanks to madman and his nephew.  Grin

No I didn't know about the Devil worshiper but I did hear about the Dyslexia sex maniac who bought himself a wearhouse.

Is celibacy hereditary?

The Furrari will be black and YELLOW.  The paint part is sorted, and the inside black and yellow, but how much black and how much yellow.  I have been dissuaded from my original idea (by Brian) in favour of a more muted, more classic option.  As I said before, my minds made up, unless I change it.

I guess my car will be a good benchmark for you to make your decision. I went for pretty much all black interior as the yellow is so bright I thought the rest needed to be toned down. Although these cars are based on the little mr2, they are a big old beast. Believe me, I spent hours polishing mine this afternoon (car, that is. Lol.) and it actually stayed dry while I washed and polished her, amazing!

We'll have a good chat on Sunday.

Beany.  Won't be there Sunday as I have a club AGM on the Sunday.  I will be there Monday and look forward to a conducted tour of the Beanymobile.  Sunglasses will be worn on a health and safety basis cos it's YELLOW.

OK, breaking news. Our pitch site is waterlogged. The cars have been allocated space in tbe display sheds alongside. We can camp at  the bottom of the field.
