Time for a few pics - now I've found my camera...  Roll Eyes - It was lost in the depths of the 5cudo's boot!  Wink
That said there aren't many pics - I barely had a chance to walk around the show. Most of the time I was with the cars in our very own indoor display area (well, that's how I like to refer to it, agreed, another more accurate description could be the sheds  Shocked )

So, to set the scene, it was a cold, wet and horrid weekend generally, did I mention that it was cold? Granted that Sunday was the best day with some sunshine and a modicum of warmth, on Monday it rained on and off, that was, of course, the time to pack up the tent! Speaking of tents, did I say it was cold at night?

Because the area we'd been allocated was waterlogged, we'd been moved into the "shedding area" and a sign erected to direct people. (pic 1)
So, there we were, shuttered away at night (pic 2), well the vehicles anyway, some of us camped on the field... Rumour has it that a camper van (and occupants) hid inside the shed overnight.  Grin

Inside, we were very busy indeed. We were next to one of the main entrances to the showground and all those visitors were routed via the sheds - someone put a barrier partway across the road/path right next to one of the doorways into the shed!  Roll Eyes
It seemed like we had people round the cars all the time. Everyone seemed impressed by the cars, one person even thought that the organisers had set up a separate display area away from all the kit cars just for Ferraris!

This was also the show where Beemaman's car made its' first appearance (having just been the front page star of CKC mag!) Jealousy comes to mind - I'd have a car like that with its' finish (though not in white, obviously!  Grin )

Here's a few pics:
pic 1 - showing some of the cars - mine, Beanyfelix's, Beemaman's, Quattro Roy's
pics 2 & 3 - a couple of general shots (you might just notice the camper van that sneaked in)

After the show, I got a chance to take a pic of one of the cars that was on DNA's stand. This was just a few mins before a torrential downpour that made the first hour of the return journey home truly horrendous!

Summing the weekend up:
The weather could have been better, but despite it, the crowds turned up.
Coffee shampoo is the latest thing for cars, or so it appeared.... twice!  Roll Eyes
The atmosphere in the evenings, around the BBQ and in the bar - priceless. It's like being part of an extended family (but without any bad bits), these get togethers are fun.
So, here's looking forward to the next show which is at Newark. Let's see if we can get so many cars there that we have to take over the pitch next door!

Hi tenpin

Great pics mate and great cars and great people.shame it was a little cold but hopefully Newark will be better Smiley

Car needs a good polish now as it's got all sorts of greasy fingermarks and black stuff on it lol

Loving the colour of yours buddy I think I'd be tempted to do one in that colour Smiley and the interior looks well wicked.but I  think your exhaust must be blowing buddy or it's fell off Smiley well that's what my ears say (I do have tinnitus so super sonic hearing) Smiley

Hey guys,

Great weekend, thanks for posting photos as i didn't take a single one this year.

Tenpin, you obviously need to invest in a warmer sleeping bag. i was toastie, despite there being ice on the outside of the tent at 4 in the morning, lol. Glad i got the tent packed up before the rain on Monday though.

Interest in the cars was great this year, so many people wanting to ask questions.

Beemaman, great to see the beast in all it's glory. An excellent job my friend.

I'm afraid i won't be at Newark this year, look for my latest thread to see why.
