Quoting from the organisers' website (http://www.honningtonevents.com/italiancar.htm):
"For 2011 Honnington Events plan to continue to combine the Italian Car & Bike Day within the Honnington Country Fair, making the whole event more spectacular and a great day out for all the family, whatever their age, whilst raising money for a very worthy charity (Kent Air Ambulance).

A fun day out for all italian car & bike nuts and those who aren’t. There will be lots of activities, displays and trade stands, making this event well worth a visit  "

Venue:   Honnington Lakeside, Vauxhall Lane,
            Southborough, nr Tunbridge Wells,
            Kent TN4 0XD

Date:     Sunday 4th September 2011

Time:     Entrance from 9.00am till late afternoon.

Cost:      Pre booked italian cars £3.00 ; bikes £2.00

Paulcas brought this to my attention, and attended last year's event, though not in a DNA and said it was a good day.

So, who's up for this one?

Had a good meeting with Angela today (between the rain showers), though thinking about it, it was also during the showers as we were outside.

Our cars count as Italian, so tricky, we can get in for £3! (That apparently includes as many passengers as we can fit in - so you may have an advantage there tricky.  Grin )

The £3 includes entry to the fair as well and the proceeds from the car show go to the Kent Air Ambulance.

Expect me to be reminding people about this over the next couple of months.

As promised - a quick reminder about this event. It's between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells - just off the A21.

So, who's coming?

It's tomorrow! Don't forget to pre-book on http://www.honningtonevents.com/italiancar.htm - you'll get an e-mail back which you print out and bring along as confirmation of pre-booking.

Well, despite the weather it was a good day. The rain held off for most of the morning - it just waited for Paulcas to arrive  Grin

I was asked to park next to the red Maserati so I left a gap for the yellow one to arrive. However, two other cars arrived so I found myself with a dark blue Maserati on one side and a dark blue Ferrari on the other!

There were a couple of 328's, a 308, a 400i and various other exotica - 2 lambos, oh and an Extreme (355) that parked over against the edge of the field!

Here's a pic of what I was told was a one-off.
