Title: WANTED: DUMMY DISC KIT & WEST COAST HEADLIGHTS
Post by: NUBODI on April 13, 2019, 09:00:31 AM
I have just bought a West coast and want to upgrade it
I need to buy a big/Carbon brake set for the front and rear
Also there are no headlights so I need some West coast or genuine California ones
Any info or leads to find these would be gratefully appreciated
Thanks

Nubodi.  I can do you a set of carbon fibre calipurrs, no metal work as i only made it for myself as a replacement for one of mine broken by the local potholes.  Discs, I’ve never tried.  I can probably do them but I would have to take advise on the finish, and again no metal work but you could probably get a set locally laser cut.  The alternative is sone stainless steel ones, again laser cut.
I will have one with me at Stoneleigh if you want a look. I will bring my disc as well as last year there was an FG man there who might be able to help.

Headlights is more of a problem as the California ones don’t fit.  No idea on that.

Best of luck Mate.

What bits of the headlights are missing? How about posting some pics of the headlights / car etc as it might help.
The complete headlight units contain the dip/main beam unit, DRL / LED side lights and LED indicators and their control electronics. Then there's the HID bulbs and associated ballasts.

Hi
The car is an unfinished project and did not come with any headlights at all
Similar headlights or later Ferrari ones would suit?

The headlights are quite specific, because they need to convince the merc that it still has merc lights fitted.

Do you have all the other lights and the wiring kit?
(I thought that all the West Coasts came with the headlights and wiring kit.)

Hi all

I know this is an old thread, but I may need new headlight lenses.

Can the chap who bought headlights from USA advise if they fitted and how much was the total coast of bringing them over to the UK. ?

Also can anyone advise if and how and who can copy a set of lenses from my west coast ?

Kind Regards
