Title: Doncaster 2019
Post by: Lee22 on January 28, 2019, 08:17:18 PM
Now I know we don’t say this often here in the UK, but I’m hoping 2019 isn’t as hot as it was in 2018...
It was mental hot at this show, which made it unbareable to walk around and enjoy this great show.

Anyway, here is the info for 2019... (we need sun and clear sky’s please)

I know exactly what you mean about the weather. We went out, top down, on one of those 30 degree days, got stuck at road works for 30 minutes in full sun....forearms, because of holding the wheel, burnt to a crisp....not pleasant.

I’ll bring entry forms with me to Stoneleigh for Doncaster so we can book a stand.  We’ve usually had good weather for this show.  It did rain one morning and I have a unique photo.  Madman’s car with its roof up.  Oh no, that was the show I lent him my big umbrella to cover his seat.

I'm interested, it only 1hr 20mins from me. Will bring the 4Thirty Spider (the metallic light blue one, aka California Azzurro). See you at Stoneleigh (will take one pf those entry forms).

Thanks

Brian

Red hot.  Doncaster.  Count the Furrari in and I’ll see you at Stoneleigh ( the Furrari is the YELLOW West Coast) about booking a stand at Doncaster.

If I remember, it was all the yellow things that the flies were attacking!

Unlucky Mick ;-)

Phil.  The show this weekend was Chetwynd Deer Park.  With all the deer poo around there were plenty of (big) flies around.  Guess who’s car they found.  There was also a tree at the end of the club pitch with some sort of wasp or bee nest in it but I didn’t go close enough to find out exactly what sort.  We left them alone and they left alone.  A win all round.

I’m looking for some sort of fly repellent wax polish, so if you’ve got any idea?

The best fly repellent is Rosso Corsa applied to a gloss finish ;D

If it’s a choice between having the car red or the flies, I’ll keep the flies.

Hi Mike
It's the gorillas poo from george that attracts all the flies you asked Ferrari Ted.

JJ Do you have the same problem with Brian?  Oh no, I forgot, your problem is mouse poo in the dash.
