Evening all

Had this made for the car.

Solid aluminium plate, that has had F430 emblem CNC'ed into it, so it sits proud.

The aluminium has then been :

Polished on the edges and the lettering
Then etch primed
Edges and letter rubbed off again
Then gloss painted
Edges and letter rubbed off Yet again
The clear lacquered..!

What a process, but well worth the work.

Pictures of the badge on the car do NOT do the badge any favours to be honest, but take it from me it looks amazing...

I just added 4 * M4 Allen key head bolts for the 4 corners, and held down with double sided tape.
Job done.. ;D

Evening all,

So I've got a VERY good Genuine FERRARI Red indoor car cover, with a black horse on the bonnet section and smaller black horse on the back of the car.
I also have 2 Red Ferrari Seat covers with a black horse on them.
And a Red Steeeing wheel cover with a black horse on it.

All this comes in a Red Ferrari Bag (slightly faded red on one side)

The cover will fit both a 360 and 430 (no lettering on the wing mirrors)

Thought I would offer on here before I place on eBay.

Morning all

I'm trying to see if I can get a set of speedo dials made for the MR2

It seems to be the case that I can't buy these in 1's from the company who make them

Therefore it looks like I'll have to lay out a fair amount of cash to get a few made.

Therefore I will have 'spares' to sell..?!?

Anyone interested? Before I place the order with the supplier?

Just trying to gauge the outlay of the initial investment.

Don't know prices yet, still waiting on a response.

Need some more help from you wonderful people please.!

When taking my heater controls apart yesterday, I had to remove the 430 air vents..!

When I did this, I noticed my dash has changed colour quite a bit..! As you can see from the picture below.

So, because I can't remove the dash from the car, as its bonded on.. What can I use on this material to turn it back to black?

I'm sure Wayne can confirm the material used.. But it feels like Alcantar or suede..

Well I never really liked the WHITE dials on the heater control on my car as they are so bright bright and in your face they don't really fit to the EXCLUSIVE 430 look... IMHO.

So I looked on 'Metal Monkey' and ordered these in black with white writing... Which I think look 100% better.

Now just to find the way to pull the heater control apart

4thirty Chat / Stainless Dash switch surrounds anyone...?!?

Guys, got myself a set of 3 switch surrounds in stainless plate made.... ;D

I'm planning on sending these to Wayne to have them painted the same colour as my dial surround (anthracite grey), but they look really good in stainless as well.

If anyone wants a set making in stainless, I can get them for £25 for the set of three, which I though was a fantastic price  ;D

I have some very sticky double sided tape (not the foam stuff), so once painted, I'll be fixing them to the dash....!

Anyone else wanting a set of 3, just let me know, and I'll ask my mate to make more set ....

Just woundering how many of you owners have ever had abuse shouted at you?

I've just had a 1/2hr run round in the car as its dry and the roads are empty.

I then get a guy in a Citroen pull his window down and shout 'MR2 W4nker...!' At the top of his voice..

Is this something we have all experienced?

Hi guys, need a bit of info if possible please.....

FOG LIGHTS

I flick the fog light switch on the dash, and there is no light on the back of the car, more than the normal lights?

Can someone please tell me which lamp should hold the FOG LIGHT bulb, and I'll see if the bulb is shot or if there is more of a serious problem?
