 Hi all,
Can't believe it's been a year since we were last at Stoneleigh!
Wendy and I will be coming along on one of the days.....which ever is looking the sunnier.....what am I talking about, the least wet day more likely.
I will be in my new car,  :D not a DNA but I'm very happy with it.
It's a convertible and white......Steve!

4thirty Chat / She's gone!

I have just seen something which I have never seen before. The rear of my 4Thirty driving off down the road. I have sold her to Colin, new member on DNAOC "Top Gun". I am really sad to see her go, more so than I thought I'd be. She's gone to a good home, Colin's a really nice chap and I hope he's an active member of the club and attends the meets and shows.
Not sure what I will replace her with yet, but what ever it is I hope to see you all again at the shows.
Wendy and I have really enjoyed meeting you all, I can't imagine a friendlier owners club and would thoroughly recommend owning a DNA to anyone.

Been a good show so far. We've had some unexpected sunny weather this afternoon. It's now dark and raining again but the forecast is good for tomorrow. Just had a club BBQ and a few crates if beer...nice!

Sorry to hear that Phill.
Mine is the same re emissions. It will fail every time unless I get the engine to running temp before they test, then there's no problem, which isn't unusual.
Shame you can't find a tame MOT station. I'm under the car with the tester when he does mine.

If a car is seized under Sect 165 Road Traffic Act, that is without insurance/driving licence, the owner or driver has 2 weeks to get insurance or a licenced driver, to pay the towing charge and reclaim the car. If not claimed it will be crushed or sold if it's worth a few quid.
So being crushed was never on the cards for this 458.

This chap was also enjoying the sun in his 458 this morning, unfortunately for him his licence wasn't up to the job so it got towed   :o
No doubt in my mind yours looks much better than this one....red gives it a head start!

Just seen this on the net. Looks like Donnington show is also no more.
Apparently it is moving to Castle Combe. It will be a one day show instead of two. It is published to take place on Sat 20 June.

The red 360 on eBay looks to me like the one that a chap took to Newark and parked on the DNAOC stand. He'd recently bought it thinking it was a DNA but it clearly wasn't and we had to break the news to him. He didn't hang around long. It had the same 'A' pillar design and head lights, all beit it has been polished up a bit in the pics.
The seller looks less than reliable according to his feedback. The DNA which according to the feedback he sold but never supplied was a 430 not 360.
Looks like a world of grief to me!

I insure my 4Thirty through A Plan as well. I've been with them for the last 4 years. They are cheaper for me than all the traditional kit/specialist insurers. I also use the Newbury office, which is the number quoted in Tenpin's post. I had my Cobra through Adrian Flux and found their customer service lacking...wouldn't go with them again.

For those who like their home comforts, I have just found that Stoneleigh Lodge, the hotel within the show ground has rooms available on Sat and Sun night. They usually get booked up a year in advance. They have become available in the last couple of weeks....maybe a club booking has fallen through or something.
If you book through Booking.com you don't pay a deposit and can cancel without charge up to 24hrs before your stay! They are charging £90 per night for a room for 2 including breakfast.
Got to be worth considering, no tent = more room for beer in the car!  :D
