No, you won’t find the cars with Jacks in them normally, (and mine didn’t have them either).
But EBay is a wonderful thing, and so are local Toyota breaker yards...

Look out for Mr2 jacks. They are normally knocking around on eBay and not expensive either.

It depends which garage you use and if they know what they are doing or not..! ;D

I always take 2 scissor jacks with me, if they need to use a trolley jack, insist they don’t jack it up on the sill lip, as it WILL flatten..!

Jack the back up off the mount hanging off the cross subframe (for example), if the trolley jack is low enough and long enough.

I wouldn’t buy a trolley jack? They crush the under sill of the car at the back.
Most of the MR2’s I’ve seen are all crushed underneath as people have used the wrong jack to jack these cars up.

If you look under the car, you will see on the sill, a lip.. on the Toyota MR2 jack that came with the car the jack has a slot that this fits in, then you wind the jack up.
They are the best for these cars.
I don’t use a trolley jack at all, but if you do, you need an adapter to stop the lip getting crushed.

Looks like drive shaft gater is spitting grease. Either split, or the retaining strap has come undone.

The amber light could be a few things, you need to get it to a garage that can read the car with a computer and see what it’s saying.

Really. Peter..?!?

I can’t remember speaking to you about my car?

In fact I haven’t spoken to many people on the forum or on Facebook (which I have now left), since the Covid-19 lockdown kicked in.
So sorry if I sound a bit bewildered but this comment you have posted seems a bit odd?

Yes, please create a video and post it on YouTube
Then post a link to it on here
We should be able to offer assistance better once seeing the issue you are facing

Too big for what reason?

I run 19” on mine, and don’t have that issue?

But do they rub when in full lock?  If so, that is a fail, and it’s just been lucky to pass in the past

Are we getting any rebate Dan?
With most of having our cars still on SORN and won’t even be moving for 12 months.?!?

Other insurance companies have done this?

I'm not surprised to be honest.

And I don't think it will be only shows in May.... This will carry on into Summer too....   They need to make sure they have nailed this virus before they can start opening social gathering again, otherwise we will all be back to square one again and none of this "Self Isolating" we are currently doing will have been worth anything.

So, after a lot of lifting up and down and loosely bolting in to check it fits, then changing it again and again, we have eventually, successfully fitted the exhaust to the car.

Can’t believe we had to remove the rear engine mounting that connects the gear box to the fire wall, as this was blocking access to bolt the exhaust together.. :o

So modified the engine mounting too so access can be gained now without removing it, in the future  ;D

So exhaust fitted all the way to the tips

Just the heat shields to make and fit now, and that’s the exhaust finished.  :D

Well, after running out of Mig wire for the welder this morning 😱 and having to shoot out for a new reel.
Barry managed to get the full exhaust welded up.
All new welds have been made smooth with the die grinder, and the full exhaust has now been fully painted again with HVT exhaust paint 👍🏻👍🏻
Just waiting for it to dry and it can be installed back in the car and heat shields made for the cat and the back box.

Lack of pictures due to being busy, but work has progressed

Engine in
Exhaust has been built, but had to fit the cat in
Started on the interior, but lots to do

Long way to go, but moving forward well 👍🏻
