Hey All

well i have been thinking about doing a replica car for a while, and after reading every magazine article and build guide i could get my hands on, watching every you tube clip i could find i had narowed it down to either a DNA or an extreme.
But this all changed after a visit to DNA on friday with my brother to meet the guys and have a quick look and start the research.  They were so helpful and friendly the decision has pretty much been made, and i am no longer planning a trip to extreme. Now its just a case of deciding which car to make first as now my brother wants one too.
So thanks Roland for bring the Demo car in for me to see, i will be pestering you soon for another visit then starting to find a donor.
I hope to see a few more examples at the Stoneleigh show in 2 weeks to help with my decision making process.
Oh and for anyone in my shoes i can tell you that no picture, magazine article or video comes close to doing the real car's justice, they look amazing in real life.

Hey, Welcome.

May I say - "Good Choice" to go with DNA! A couple of years ago, I was in a similar situation to you, and now look what's happened!

It's looking like we'll have some 4Thirty's and my 3Sixty at least on the DNAOC pitch outside, as well as whatever the guys put on the DNA stand inside at Stoneleigh this year. Do come over and have a chat, we'll answer your questions and make you feel welcome.

Hi Steve, I bought the ext.... build dvd for the 360 and even purchased the pug, but the owner backed out of the ebay deal. Without going into too much detail how did it go, and more importantly did you find it interesting. I loved watching all the fabrication work.
Could be one of the reasons for tearing my little ol' Mr2 apart!

Hey D, Yes the extreme 360 was very interesting, the fabricating work was good fun but it needed alot off head scratching, however there were some flaws, particulaly the panels which need alot of alteration. the roof structure didnt prove to work and required lots of additional braceing. one year later and i managed to complete it, although i think there has only been a handful ever completed. I love what your doing with your MR2, you obviously love a challange!!
