Detling Show 4/5 April 2010

The first show of the year, and it's my "home" show! (I say "home" because it's the one show which I can get to in less than one hour, the rest are 4 or 5 hours on a good day!)
NOTE: This show is on Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday

Location: Kent County Showground, Detling. Just north of Maidstone, Kent on the A249

I've been asked by the organiser if we would like a reserved space for us.... Is anyone attending? or thinking about it?

OK, so should I reserve them a space?.....or not?

What do we have to do to get people to attend? Offer the drivers free entry to the show?

My project is rather intense and is taking a lot of man hours, rest assured I will attend all meetings when the car is finished, I'm proud to own a DNA430 and would quite happily state that it's a replica and not the real thing to anyone asking or looking at the car

Much as I'd appreciate seeing a friendly face, Madman, unfortunately it's not a show where there is camping....

Just a quick reminder, Detling show is now less than a week away. Do come and introduce yourselves to us. I'll be there with my car and I'm sure DNA will have a car, or two, there as well.

Weather for Easter weekend:

UK Outlook for Saturday 3 Apr 2010 to Monday 12 Apr 2010:
The weather is likely to remain unsettled throughout the Easter weekend, with a mixture of sunny spells and blustery showers expected. There is also a risk of snow falling, mainly over northern hills but possibly elsewhere at times. Some drier and brighter periods are also likely, mainly toward the end of the Easter weekend and into the start of the following week. These may become most widespread in southern areas which may become drier and more settled. However, the generally unsettled picture is likely to continue so further showers or rain are likely and it will be windy in places. Temperatures are expected to be below average in most places at first but could recover to be closer to average by the second weekend of April.

Well, what can I say, actually this is probably too much.  The new dash is looking great, but I'm pretty sure it won't be released in time for the Detling show 
I'm trying to persuade the guys to put pics up on here first, before they get leaked anywhere else! We'll start a new thread for it. We might get pics in a week or so..

Please excuse the odd angle etc, but I thought you might like a quick sneaky peak at a couple of stands at the Detling show... (Saturday is the setup day).

This is the joint (well adjacent stands) effort from DNA / DNAOC to make a patriotic display at the show - hoorah for the Red (360), White (430) and Blue (360).

If I get a chance tomorrow (the first day of the show), I'll take some more pics from the show and post them.
