Wind deflector
« on: May 09, 2019, 11:35:45 AM »
Hiya,
Has anyone come up with or made a practical wind deflector for the DNA F430 ?
I was looking at the Tourismo stand and they had one on the Porsche model which looked quite good.
Wouldn't mind adapting something like that as long as it blends in.
Cheers

From memory I don’t think anybody did a wind deflector.  Remember, if you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

The set listed above on eBay......

I believe are for a genuine 430, and will NOT fit the DNA 430, without alteration.

So a lot of money to be cutting them apart, in my opinion.

Everyone’s roleover hoops will be slightly different in thickness due to the amount of padding used when they were trimmed, and what thickness of leather was used.. so bespoke items will need to be designed and made, as far as I’m concerned.

Like everything with these cars, most things need to designed, made and fitted, as there is limited items (off the shelf) that fit.
