Stainless headlight bezels
« on: November 27, 2018, 03:50:13 PM »
After searching everywhere and not being able to buy these, I have bit the bullet and I am having some made albeit minimum of 10 sets.
The prototype in mild steel fit brill, so I have ordered 10 sets in stainless. As for cost I wont know untill they are completed.
This is an order for 10 sets only anyone interested let me know, I will add price as soon as I know.

Hi Madman,   could you please put me down for a set, I won't be in a hurry for them but I would like them handy for when I do need them.   Many thanks, Graham

If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

Hi  Madman, I will also be interested in a pair of bezels, what sort of time scale are we looking at?

Well done mate.

Seriously, it’s the only way to go. And relatively straightforward in the big scheme of things, though I’m sure there will be plenty of “thorn and bramble” to get them right :)

I went down the track of replicating the original steering wheel in polished stainless, with all the kneels etc. Sadly, that ceased once it became clear I would never be able to buy the kit for me to fit in Australia.

wishing we could get cars like these legally registered downunder
