Build Up / Laid Up Insurance
« on: October 05, 2018, 02:45:06 PM »
Guys,

Does anybody have a cheap place to buy Build Up / Laid Up insurance?
I’ve  had 2 quotes (both for a year)
Adrian Flux - close to £700 ouch
Google Quote - £299

Both sound expensive.

Cheers

That does sound very expensive, my 250 & Daytona both come in at £180 from Adrian Flux on £5k miles. One valued at £30k and the other at £40k. So unless you have a very high value they seen to be taking the p*ss.

Must be cheaper to insure it normally on a limited mileage.

Good call - Insured for sub 5000 a year & much cheaper than either of the above.

You just need to remember that all insurance brokers/companies are lying, thieving bastards.

I heard that one insurance broker was so fed up with their reputation that he left the job......to become an Estate Agent.....or was it a double glazing salesman?  :D
If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?
