http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ferrari-458-Italia-Replica-DN8-DNA-AUTO-MOTIVE-Kit-Car/172911588186

This is the cleanest, most perfect Ferrari Replica you will ever see or drive. It was valued this year at £35,000 and this car comes complete with a Specialist Valuation Of Agreed Market Value Insurance Policy Certificate, so if you ever had to claim on the insurance you would get a guaranteed pay out of £35,000. This 48 page Specialist Valuation Of Agreed Market Value document is available on request but the bulk of it has been included at the bottom of the description.

This car was featured in the September 2015 issue of Complete Kit Car Magazine and is regarded as the best built Ferrari 458 the UK has ever seen. The car is a DNA Automotive kit that was built by a professional. The car cost over £45,000 to build and is a beautiful example of what a replica car should be.

The Ferrari 458 replica gets some serious attention and turns heads absolutely everywhere. There is no reason what so ever why anyone would think this wasn't the real £250,000 supercar. It looks, sounds and drives like the real supercar. The roof, wheels and interior all matches and is in Anthracite Grey. This makes the car very unique and different which looks absolutely stunning.

Car comes with identical Ferrari 458 Replica Key and immobiliser key fob. The cars immobiliser is awesome and has never gone off with the wind etc.

The personalised number plate S3UDO is included with the car and has been valued at just over £4,000.

Car is based on a Ford Cougar which comes with full service history and a mileage of 38,000. Breaks, pads and disks were all replace for new when the car was built. All wheels have been refurbished and look amazing.

The insurance for this car is very cheap, I pay around £500 a year with Footman James and that includes a guaranteed valuation pay out of £35,000. Full service with Ford costs around £250-£300 compared to the minimum service cost of £3,000+ with Ferrari. Road tax and fuel running costs are also very cheap.

More high resolution photos, videos etc are available on request.

£29,995 or nearest offer. Please no time wasters. This really is an amazing vehicle and anyone lucky enough to own this car will love it. Please contact me via Ebay message to ask any questions, arrange a viewing or reserve the vehicle. I am happy to remove the vehicle from Ebay and reserve the vehicle but would require a deposit of £500 via bank transfer to secure the car.

Specialist Valuation Of Agreed Market Value Insurance Policy Certificate

DNA Automotive is a company based in Redditch, Worcestershire in the North East of England specialising in the manufacture of high quality GRP panel kits to change a donor car into a Ferrari supercar lookalike and over the years have built a reputation for supplying high quality products, the latest being a 1960's California Spider based on a BMW Z3. The DN8 used a V6, 2.5 litre Ford Cougar and offers outstanding supercar car looks with meticulous detail at an affordable price. The DN8 was the fourth model in their range and the kit included: all exterior body panels, front bumper, door handles, petrol flap, rear clip combining rear bumper with lefthand and righthand quarters, engine lid (pre bonded inner and outer skins), rear diffuser with two fins, quarter lights (plastic), mirrors, front lights, rear lights (genuine Ferrari), lower rear lights (genuine Ferrari), centre brake light (genuine Ferrari), side repeaters (genuine Ferrari), windscreen, heated rear screen, fake engine, engine bay surround, all grills (mesh), exhaust, exhaust surround, wheels, windscreen wiper mechanism, windscreen wiper blades, rear screen side grilles, mirror glass and wheels arch liners.
This DNA DN8 was built by the factory as a demonstrator in 2012, based on a front engined, 2000 Ford Cougar fitted with a 2.5 litre, V6 engine and manual gearbox, that had only covered 28000 miles from new with a fully stamped up service book. With this as the donor car, they fitted all the parts listed above and then added the optional extras including; brake kit including all the brackets, fake brake callipers and fake carbon look brake discs, also the complete interior including original Ferrari dashboard vents. This Ferrari 458 recreation has been built to the highest DNA specification, finished in Ferrari red, black roof with black interior this car is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in September 2017, the Ford service book and a file of old MoT test certificates which also confirms the mileage.

DNA Automotive’s latest recreation, the DN8, now available in kit form. Like the DNA “5couda” this car is based on the Ford Cougar (made between 1998 and 2004). The car doesn’t need modifications to the main structure of the donor car so IVA isn’t required. The kit made by DNA allows customer to build their own “easy” version of the Ferrari 458 cheap to maintain with engine from the Ford Zetec 2 litre to the 2.5 litre V6 Duratec. The car has front mounted engine (like the Cougar) and seats in the back or you can mount a fake V8 engine to cover the extra luggage space.

This vehicle has been featured in a number of Kit Car magazines and has been on display at various motor shows around the country. It has been recognised by motoring journalist as the best Ferrari 458 recreation in the country and has received many accolades.

The front of the car is near immaculate, it has one very small stone chip on the bonnet that has been touched in. All paintwork to the front bumper and bonnet is free from blemishes and paint defects.

The passenger side front wing has not stone chips, and from a few feet away looks perfect, an inspection under sun light showed no defects, though when shaded, slight imperfections which are from the mould underneath the paint can be seen by a professional engineer. A lay person would not see these unless pointed out to them. They do not affect the value in any way.

A thorough inspection of near side of the vehicle showed no scratches marks or paint defects in the paint other than noted above. It was "indeed" immaculate.

Engine bay. This being the false engine bay in the rear of the car, it has a false engine cover that is unbelievably realistic. This is replicated down to the coolant expansion bottle, and jubilee clips on the hoses. It has quite remarkable attention to detail.

The underside of the vehicle was thoroughly inspected, there is no evidence of accident damage or corrosion. The vehicle is quite literally like a new car underneath still have the Ford anti corrosion protection on.

The interior is an identical replica and is of fabulous quality having contrasting red stitched coverings to the dash board and seats. The binnacle and air vents are as a Ferrari 458. The gear lever surround is also a superb recreation. The attention to details is astounding, even down to the manetteli switch on the steering wheel.

Both door cards are also beautifully finished. The interior clearly has many thousands of pounds and countless hours put into it.

The engine was checked for oil leaks, none were found. No play in crankshaft pulley, the engine was find to run and idle smoothly.I was limited to what I could check, but all fluids were correct levels, and no abnormal noise where apparent.Engine mounts where as new,and the engine had clearly been recently serviced had new cam cover gaskets.

There was no play in the steering, operating smoothly from one lock to the others. No evidence of any leaking, power steering fluid correct level and power steering pump was quiet in operation.Steering wheel was checked for play, and none found. Track rod ends checked, no play found.

Foot brake and handbrake operate as they should with no faults. Brake pedal firm and servo operating correctly. Each caliper was checked for operation, the wheel was spun, no run-out on disc and calipers stopped wheel rotating on all four wheels. All disc and pads appear relatively new, disc appear to be tarox grooved and dimpled. Handbrake locked rear wheels.

The wheels are Ferrari replica's and have 275/35/20 Tyres at the rear, and 235/35/20 made by Pinzo Delinte. All 4 wheels are unblemished.

The car has adjustable coil over shock absorbers all round with adjustable coil platforms and damping. I was unable to discern the make, they appeared to be Gaz coil overs which are a reputable brand. No play found in wishbones, anti roll bars or ball joints.

Modified rear exhaust section, manufacturer up to the back box, no corrosion or evidence of any leaks.

All lights checked and found to operate correctly, all interior lights and dash warning lights operate as they should. Heater/washers /wipers and electric windows function correctly.

All seatbelts work correctly.

The vehicle has a petrol engine, fuel lines in the engine bay are not perished, underside of the car they are free from corrosion, and the fuel gauge operates correctly.
