For what its worth, i like the black,  it matches the tops of the doors and the dash, gives a nice finish between the red and the white which would then go all the way round the interior.  Going with red the eye goes from the dashboard to the door trim (black) then at the back its red.  Looks nice but think black looks better IMO.

As you know I had a beige tonneau cover for my car decided in the end to go for black. I was thinking about dying it but knowing me I would finish up with black hands so having a look round in B&Q I found a spray that you can spray on leather plastic and cloth at £4.50 a can. so I decided to by two.
first picture is the can of spray.
Second and third picture is the cover being sprayed in my garage.
Fourth and fifth picture is the cover on the car I will take some better pictures when I get time.

Looks really great bro but is it a “mottled” finish by intent or is it just a funky effect of the light?

On reading the thread I noticed that you have used MGB seats. I have a pair of the same that I am intending to use but am not to happy about the lever that reclines the seat back. You don't have it fitted, how do you recline the seats?
Thanks
