Photo Hosting
« on: July 08, 2017, 12:19:17 PM »
Well it seems that Photobucket has now hit my account and wiped off all my pictures on every site I've embedded a photo
I hope there's some real backlash from this as I don't know what to do, they're asking for $399 to enable hosting.

This was first sighted on MADMECHANICS, I thought it was 'commercial/prolific posters' being targeted but it seems it's global, I feel as I'm being held to ransom
D
Well, I'm into the 11th year of the project, could it be ready for Stoneleigh 2020, doubt it. The longest DNA build ever

Hi mate. Yes every customer great and small have been hit with this. I understand PB wants to be paid for the services they provide but with all the bloody intrusive ads they use and now this, I believe people will not only leave, but will actively turn others away from them. I'm downloading each folder so I can upload them as a group again, somewhere else. I believe PB's charges are squarely aimed at commercial customers. I would consider paying but their method has lost me.

Mine is the same. Happened last week. The only 3rd part hosting option Photobucket offered me is their P500 account = $399 Usd per year.

I'm looking at other free options.
If it doesn't fit first time, use harsh words...!
