and me
If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

My 8 year old wants to come tomorrow
Is there any thing for her to do there? Or will she be bored all day

It's not like Knebworth with the fort.  I think there is only the House itself but that's probably not what an eight year old wants to see and you can only eat so many ice creams.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

According to the printed Ragley brochure/leaflet there's an adventure playground and 3D Maze, and I quote: "Young explorers will have hours of fun in the 3D maze and adventure area while the whole family can take to the Boating Lake for water sports.".
Have a look at their website:

Tricky.  Just about to tell you what Stuart has already told you.  Sorry if I misled you.

Apart from the rain, not a bad day.  Stuart and I had out cars down in the arena with an intro from Adam from CKC.  The commentator was very impressed with the range and diversity of kit cars.   The Furrari was nominated to go into the concourse competition at the end, but I gave it a miss as the grass was so wet I'd never have got back to our exhibition area.   All the work I usually put into preparing the car, this time I looked at the forecast and said to myself ( I often talk to myself) I don't think I'll bother.

My thanks to Adam at CKC for the invite.  Next up on the CKC circuit is Castle Combe,  Tenpin has some more tickets.

Mick,
Just as you were driving off, they announced you had won in your class, you  missed being presented with your award by the Marquess of Hertford.

BOF.  Yes, Stuart just phoned to tell me.  I knew I'd been nominated but I heard the result for the kit car class and it wasn't me.  That was the Gemini kit car class but I won the club class as we were there as part of the CKC club.  Stuart collected the trophy (a bit of blue plastic) and we'll get Adam to present it to me at Castle Combe.

Fame at last.
