Looking for these bits for my 360. Unfortunately DNA say discs are hard to get now and have no perspex panels, so hoping someone on here has some.

Thanks

Thanks Lee.

I'm after rear dummy discs and calipers plus the fixing brackets and clear perspex engine cover panel (the old one has cracked).

Cheers - Steve

Hi, are you sure it's a DNA car? As both the DNA 360 and 430 have a genuine Ferrari glass not clear perspex.
Any photos ?

There's only one 360 with genuine glass  ;) ;) ;)

I looked into Perspex before fitting the glass, a good glazier shop will cut to size, then the perforated black surround transfer from a printers.

I spoke to mark (mk build) about the rear perspex before he put in an OEM glass one and I reckon you can use the old one as a template and use Plexiglas which is what they are made of and spray on the black edging which is how DNA did it.....
Has to be V6 power and SERIOUS NOISE !!!!!!

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yes, I should be able to use the old cracked cover as a template to get a new one cut. I think the replica engine sits too high as there is zero clearance between it and the perspex which has caused the crack at some point.  ::)

I'll give Lee a call about the discs and calipers.

I would go for something like PETG or Polycarbonate rather than a acrylic plastic. Both are tough and impact resistant meaning neither will crack.  Both are nice to work with. I would look at something like 4mm thick if you can find it.
The fat one..

Thanks for the info. I did wonder what type of material to use, so that answers that one!

if you can lower your replica engine down slightly, try a local double glazing firm, I had a piece of tempered glass made for an Enzo replica for a m8 of mine approx £45 but that was several years ago, last year I had a piece of tempered made to my pattern for a V12 coffee table £50 also two circular pieces for crankshaft wine tables at £25 each. so it,s doable and not too expensive. also laminated glass can be cut to any size don't know cost of that. DAF trucks have a flat laminated windscreen you could cut, if there is a commercial breakers near by. Hope this helps

we used polycarb with windscreen primer around the edge to created the black band the dummy engines were very close never really designed for the 3sixty.
we would created a slight bend in it very slight when fitting it to enable it to clear the dummy engine.
the mounts were bonded onto the polycarb DNA had them made so you would need to contact Brian to see if they can still get them it was  along time ago so may be difficult.
might need to to have a one off made.

Steve.   If you can do/get drawings of the mounts I might be able to print them for you in ABS.  No promises but let's have a look.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.
