Lee.

I don't think this is suitable for the West Coast engine so I won't need one.

The idea though remains on the agenda.

Mick.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Hi Mick,
I placed this thread in the 430 section as I thought this is only needed on the 430, but I suppose they could be used on any of the models as they are just a beautiful piece of engineering.

I'll try and get a price soon for these caps too, as we've got a price for the raw material costs now from the supplier.. So he's just working out the manufacturing costs now.

Lee.

I've finalised my design for the engine cover with Wayne and I'll soon start the mods he suggested ready for him to approve and paint.

The oil filler cap is a funny shape which means that your filler cap won't fit but it does give me ideas to work on.

Your work on the cap is rather nice though.  Any body seeing that taken off a car would not for an instant think it is a replica.

Ok people here we go.

I have now got all of these in my hands.

He's charging me £60 each for these oil/fuel caps

Not forgetting they are solid, polished aluminium with the FERRARI engraved out of them
So up to you if you fill this with black enamel paint or not.

Obviously if I need to post these out I'll need to add this to the £60, but it will only be a couple of pound (I hope).

So people that are wanting 1 or 2 please let me know ASAP, as I only have a few of these at present..!

Thanks
Lee

I only currently have 4 left out of the original 12 batch made :o

Everyone who says they wanted one, I have them either in the post already or just waiting to go.

Postage is working out at :

£3.95 for 2nd class recorded
£4.45 for 1st class recorded

So currently sending all of them as 1st class.. ;D
It's typical that I can send 2 for the same price as sending one, as it still falls into the 'small box' size.

So if anyone is still interested, get your order in soon

Mine is on it's way to me - thanks Lee.

Can't wait to see it and the dial backs - a weight off my mind.
