I did something similar on mine when I build it. It will look good.
However, you can also use another one and mold it into your fuel cap. That's what I did and looks cool when filling up 😊

That's the idea Rudy, and that's why I've had the underside ground out for ease of fitting

When we at Doncaster I was looking at a 360 engine.  The oil filler cap was made from titanium and cost £700.  I think I stick with plastic for now, unless I can print one myself and get it chrome plated.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Hi Lee.

Sounds good to me.
If it doesn't fit first time, use harsh words...!

If you can get the proper Ferrari lettering engraved Mark
I'll give you all of them, and I'll have them all done

I can then enamel paint the lettering  ;D

Hi guys

I've had a few people message me about these aluminium caps

I'm not sure on price yet, as we've only paid for raw materials at the moment and this onebosvtge first off the machine

They are not threaded to fit directly as a replacement for your fuel cap, as I have been asked

It will be a bonded cap to fit into the original fuel cap

Plus they can be used on the engine cover too, as the real ones are very expensive

Here is a YouTube video I have just uploaded to show you better angles of it

As soon as I know a price I'll let you all know

Thanks for now
Lee

That is amazing.  I will have to investigate further after Knebworth to fit the west coast engine and my new engine cover.

For the fuel cap?  Not sure because it's down inside a long tunnel and I don't realy want bits of metal on bits of string near painted surfaces.

Any idea on price or cut off date yet.?

Mick

Price not yet Mick, but won't be expensive.

I will have enough made to make sure everyone wanting one, will get one, that's no problems.

My fuel cap isn't connected to my car, so I will just be placing it on the filling pump as I do now, but won't forget it  ;D
I need my man to do the letting in them first too before I'll let them out, plus I'm not sure of to fill the lettering cut out with black enamel paint... ::)

Need  to make a holder on the inside of the fuel door like some cars have then you have a place to set the fuel cap without driving off without it.
