Great tale mate. Would love to see pics. Bloody battery terminals!!!! Imagine the sheer volume of punters saying "yup, that's definitely an old Ferrari" :)

To your daughter: Well done young lady, for excelling!

What's a cover up plate?

By the way, I broke down in my Porsche RSR replica in the middle of Melbourne's busiest intersection. At peak hour, of course. Two very kind policemen gave me a push start.

couldn't make ragley hall on Monday
my mot ran out, so today had a new one done, failed on headlight aim , had to take off the Perspex cover to get it through as the Perspex was giving false readings
also had the handbrake cables replaced as they were advisories

on another note, noticed a black 250 going to auction near me at sand own park form barons
£90000 !!!
I'll be going to the auction to have a look to see what it goes for

Tricky.  One thing certain, at that price it's not a Ferrari.  Be interesting to compare its quality to a DNA 250.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

I had a quick look....it is a replica yes, but it sounds as if it is one of those bespoke ones, made out of metal and hand finished. it says it was built in 1987.
If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

A Z3 with no quarterglass. Wonder if the windows work. Perhaps new glass has been manufactured.

Tricky.  If you can get near it try a magnet on the bumper, I doubt anybody else is using FG bumpers.

Has this been removed from the auction - not showing on the Baron's web site
