Yep, bigger is definitely better....very smart.
If Airfix plastic model planes are made exactly to scale, why don't they fly?

Apologies for the dumb question but are these screen printed dials and chrome surrounds, placed over the existing setup?

Wow. That's fantastic. The larger ones for me, all the way. There must be some funky stuff going on to get them to talk to the beema's electronics. Makes a lad happy to see such great work.

They don't talk to the bmw computer. They are direct from source.

No cable - out of my depth here but..........
They are electrical with sensors. Someone correct me, or give a better explanation !

possibly has a sensor under body on chassis with magnetic pick ups on drive shaft, that,s how I did it on my Dino replica, but that was approximately 15 years ago so things could have moved on.

Went to Dna today to swop over my rear wheels to larger ones
Also got my rear lights changed

So, I know these are a modified MGB taillight and they really do look fantastic  -  I'm keen to know if they're big bucks because if not, I will STOP hunting for Type 3 VW taillights and just get a pair of these babies.

Seriph.   DNA now have their own lenses for the 250.  It replaces the lower part of the lense assembly.  Give Brian a call or e-mail.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Email sent :) ... the type 3 lights are great but the DNA units fit with no modification!

That'll do me

the weather was nice this weekend, so I promised my daughter if she did good at a gymnastics completion on Saturday ,i would  take her to carnaby street to get her some football boots she's been pestering me for,
it was her first competition and she got 1st place!
so into the 2 fifty but it had a flat battery, I hadn't used it since xmas !
quick trip to local garage and new battery fitted,
off we went roof down ,shades on, through Kensington high st, past harrods, under the tunnel , had to drop a gear and Rev,  she didn't like that ! too loud !!

the car gets so much attention, she was loving it, everyone taking photos and filming
on the way home ,same thing, the boat race was on and I have to cross a few bridges to get home,
half way over the car dies!!!,
no electrics at all , can't start it, que a few Oxford vs Cambridge guys all help to push it down off the bridge and over to the side, not one of the crowd being a dick about it, all saying these old Ferraris are temperamental  etc
turns out I didn't tighten up the negative bolt on the battery and it jumped off, pushed it back on and away we went home to get the socket set out!!!

Ha haaa, great story old mate....as you know I was a bit concerned when someone on here, can't quite remember who, said they had some grief when driving around, sounds like I needn't worry in the 'old' 250  :D

PS. I bet you never forget the neg terminal tightening again   ;D

PPS. where the hell do you park for Carnaby Street ???????
