Hey everyone, so I been a long time lurker and finally made a account on here. I emailed Paul in Maryland and really do hope they DON'T go anywhere anytime soon, atleast not before am a DNA 430 owner! I'm hoping to land this Boeing position this upcoming week which would mean I would have enough funds by the end of this year, if not early/middle of next year. I'm only 25 with a year and 1/2 old daughter and being single dad with her full time isn't easy. I been huge on the whole kitcar/replica scene since I was 18, owned my first Lambo complete turnkey that got everyones attention when I was 22, sold it to help with funds and my daughter but it's time for another enjoyable toy soon!

Couple off the head questions I didn't ask Paul... How well built/fiberglass laid are these kits? How thick? Anyone experience cracking from normal driving over the years? And one of the most important question... Do they have the passenger airbag on/off switch option as i know most all newer vehicles have this option so I can enjoy a drive with my daughter?

Hi, welcome, hope the job comes through so you can get a 4Thirty.

The fibreglass is amazingly strong, so much so that I've seen a video of a girl standing on the rear three-quarter panel and jumping up and down! (We're not talking about a 3 year old girl either - you could tell she was female and jumping up and down.)

If you replace the steering wheel and fit the over-dash panel to give a more authentic look, then you will probably disable / remove the airbags anyway.

Rippin,

I was in MD two weeks ago to see it for myself and it's thick, solid and absolutely perfect.  Pictures and Video don't give justice to those builds.  See it for yourself.

On my part I got the funds and I'm ready to go... Just the Canadian laws to figure out.  Wish I was American...

Good luck

Thanks guy! I'm really looking forward to this, I have done months and months of research of builds, replicas and kits. By far DNA comes out on top. Why I asked about cracking with the thickness is cause I seen kits of different companies crack pretty easy and am aware of any parking curb is going to win over any body panel... Main reason I park my a good 12" at least away from them with any vehicle I drive or own. But I see cracking from vibration and just driving, am not worried about it since the kits seem well bolted and solid to the frame but I still asked if anyone had any problems.

I'm not too sure I will go full out with the full dash counting on costs, but just the standard package of a steering wheel, gauges overlay changed and tan interior on of course red exterior.

Either way... I WILL be a DNA owner. Sorry to hear about Canada, it's from I can't remember what company(not to name any names) try to find the link/article but stole thousands and thousands of dollars, comitted fraud, and didn't get FMVSS crash tested approved from importing RHD skylines and RHD vehicles into canada then transferred into the states is the only reason why they cracked down. If it wasn't for that company it wouldnt be a problem but I DID read a post about a possible Vendor in Canada soon from DNA.

Also to add with all my research at first I thought DNA was just another Scam, Fraud and Fake company such as the popular Supercar Replica now a new web link with "Chip Foose sponsored", I emailed them and did get replies thinking they were real but read so much fraud and scams. Just glad to hear DNA is real, top quality, and everything positive! Just wish they were on the west coast and not across the country cause it will be a spendy trailer ride home, title transfer, vehicle inspection, and probably hit with sale taxes too.

How many finished 430 cars has DNA Auto in the US completed?  It'd be nice to see some before making a decision.

I believe DNA only made 1 F430 so far in the US as far as I know.
Update I picked up this weekend for $6000.

I live on the west coast of the US too. Specifically LA, but I've been looking at kit cars since I was around 13 and now I'm stuck on DNA. I really want to get their 430 in the next few years.
