I like the DNA steering wheel kit but hate that the T/C. RACE, etc.. knob is not selectable and not iluminated.  I took a thrusmaster 430 PC game wheel and a MOMO racing wheel and put the two together.  I am currently still in the process of extending the Paddle shift levers that came with the PC wheel they were just a tad to short for the MOMO wheel.  I will be filling in the other 6 buttons on the silver surround and re-painting the face again. I also am adding the back surround so as not to use that crappy rubber boot that came with the MOMO mounting kit. So far so good, hope you guys like it.

Finally finished it today. I decided to add the carbon fiber vinyl since I will be installing some carbon fiber goodies in the interior.  Just have to install it and adhere it together. I am still undecided on keeping the paddles on??

I presume you have the SMT box then? If so how are you going to wire the paddles into the box? Also, has anyone else had experience with paddles and the SMT system. I found some on the net, but they were ridiculasly expensive. The wheel looks amazing though Grin

Hey, This wheel looks great. I can't wait to see what other little details you put into your build. That is what i love about these cars, yes you get your purists who like nothing but RED (You know who you are!!) and try to follow as close to the original as possible, or you can add your own individual little, or large, twist.

Keep up the good work and get some more build photos on soon.

Beany, if I told you what I want to do with 'my' car, you would either not believe me, or kill me! Either way, I think I need one of these steering wheels, its amazing!

Brilliant job with the steering wheel!

You haven't got the step-by-step photos of how you did the steering wheel, by any chance?

I dont have many build photos but im willing to build another if someone ships the goods to me and I will build step by step with photos and ship back.  I will try to take mine apart and begin with it again and show the build.
