I know who's that is, but not allowed to say.

As for those particular idiot's on piston heads, a cheap knock of means to me, that something that you buy really cheap and stops working the next day. Such as a watch that falls to pieces next day.

The west coast kit is not cheap, nor is the donor (Merc is one of the worlds best produced cars, and the SL500 is a rocket pocket). The DNA West Kit is a minimum panel body kit that does not interfere with the original manufactures setup.  Now if someone does not understand that such as above paragraph then they must be idiots. From my past observations people like that (inter bred heathens) don't have two pennies to rub together and share a brain cell between them, and would never be able to afford the West Coast.

Kal......chill out mate, in the kit car world, you will ALWAYS have lovers and haters, who cares! as long as YOU are happy with what you have then it doesn't matter if somebody loves it or hates it.

All I know is, I have attended a few kit car shows and EVERYONE loves the DNA kits!

I went to a car show (not a "kit" car show) with Madman in Doncaster and we ended up with a guy telling us that the car CANNOT be a replica, cos he has hired a real 430 before for a weekend and THAT (pointing to madmans car) is a real one !!!!!!
What colour should a Ferrari be?...ROSSO of course!

Kal.

I take it you are not 100% in agreement with them. :-)

It's difficult not to go on to this site to put them straight but I'll not rise to the bait.

When the Kalifornia is finished they will post pictures of a Ferrari they saw today.  Those photos' will have a green tinge due the the envy they feel.

Peasants.

Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

;) well said Phils99 I can't afford to build at the present time but I sure appreciate looking at your beautiful build threads and actually admire them more than the real deal as there built by hard working enthusiasts not millionairs that will never appreciate what they've got  ;D

...thats the reason I chose to build mine, I am not a fabricator or a bodywork specialist by any means (as DNA would agree after they saw my effort!!), but I had a go and enjoyed most of the little behind the scenes stuff that needs to be done (wiring, strengthening brackets etc). I know that when I get this car on the road I will be much prouder of it due to the fact that I built most of it myself and the haters can go do one as they will never understand.

I have been to a good few shows and you always get plenty of people milling around the DNA owners club in awe at the quality of the end result of a DNA kit build.

I am regularly on Mad mechanics and you see cars that are still being built 3, 4, 5 years later and they are still way off the finish line!

With DNA, YOU buy the kit, YOU put the effort into the build, then YOU have the pleasure of owning THE WORLDS BEST KIT CAR.....now make sure you show it off at ALL of the shows next year, cos I will be there with mine!
