Evening guys, just a heads up here...

I was given the right part number by both Madman and Brian from DNA last week for the ball joint on the lower arm.

I was working at a parts factor In Scotland this week and asked him for a pair, and he gave me an FAI set.
Not thinking to look at them, I put them in the boot and came home.

On closer inspection today, these ball joints won't fit.....

As you can see from the pictures above, the metal work is slightly different on the new FAI joint to my original one.

The FAI joints look like they are 'Handed' as there is a large L embossed on the underneath.

I spoke to my Local factor this morning (who I know really well) and sent him the above pictures...

He's done some investigation and found that the same part number but made by 'First Line' seem to has the correct metal casting and is not 'Handed'.... But has the same cross-reference to the FAI number above.

So if any of you are wanting / needing to change this lower ball joint.... Be careful which manufacturer your local factor sells you... Otherwise you may be taking them back for a refund / exchange......

Hope this helps..
