Very impressive, I'm liking it more as the build progresses. Problem is, if I like it much more I'll have to sell the 4Thirty to make space in the garage for one! :-\

This one can live on your driveway.  I'm sure the neighbours won't mind. Lol

Rippin6 Gears.

Novel.  You've given it a face.  It looks cross eyed.
Not all problems can be solved with gaffer tape.  For those there is WD40.
Not even gaffer tape can fix stupid, but it can mask the sound.

If you can’t buy it or steal it you have to make it.

Love the cross eyed look, just needs a vent on the rear quater as 430 and I think it would be spot on.
Ohh, and while we are at it dual lights at the rear, perfect

I'm not bashing the model, I just think the front needs to be more agressive!!! It's lacking exotic rare look!
It has a too much of a smiley mouth look. You have to agree with me on this, the real California is not a big seller either way.

See any comparison of stock mr2 with eye lids or looks similar or is it just me?

Rippin.

Yes I see a distinct similarity.  They're both red.
Ferrari say that 70% of California buyers are first time Ferrari buyers so it can't be doing a bad job for them.
Most cars are a variation on a theme with a smiley face as research has shown that the majority of buyers will go for that.
The California is not designed to look over aggressive, don't forget that it's not a sports car it's a Grand Tourer.  The West Coast has a higher waistline than the SL and this makes it look a little more aggressive.

For those that couldn't make it to Donnington, the new Califonia was at the DNA stand.

Hopefully the picture wil work.

Those picies do not do the car justice.  In the flesh it is stunning.  The way the line running back from the bottom of the front wing vents are joined by the line line from the top of the wing vent and then runs back over the rear wing to finish at the tail light is outstanding but is matched by the way the Merc rear screen runs into the boot lid.

Wonderful job.

Patience is a virtue, finding a West Coast is not a problem, however finding a California is....

Don't worry, there will be pictures.
