Well i collected my kit sat 25th april and i no everyone says it but the guys at dna are great, this is my second build (1st was an extreme 360) and i must say dna have impressed me.

I went with a 1 Tonne tipper and after they spent 4 hours walking through each stage of the build we loaded on all the kit, it only just fit, this kit comes with everything and i mean everything, i think all i need to buy is 1 NUT.

i aint got a donor yet, i get married on 5 month and the misses has spent some of my donor money on a 3 grand dress (i think ive picked the wrong women), so im back saving and on the look-out for a bargin

Theres still a few bits i can do before the donor arrives such as cutting out for the lights etc, shaping grills etc, Infact its easyier doing it this way and will save me endless time.

I will post loads of pics and try to post as much detail as possible so here goes.

Heres a few pics of all the parts, theres more, this is just a small collection, Everything from adhesive to a door, its all here.

I just typed a massive reply and for some reason it all disapeared, nightmare, Im a QS so build skill wise if your pretty handy with diy and have a little knoldge about cars, ie can you replace your disks then i dont think you would have any issues, the best way to find out would be spend a couple of hours at dna while they run through the process, if you walk away thinking i can do that then you will have no prob, It is more like a big bodykit, nothing seems hard about it, its more of a take your time and dont rush thing, and from what ive seen upto yet the guys at dna will bend over backwards, i have purchassed a comprehensive kit, it comes with absolutly everything from panels, adhesive wheels and roof to genuine lights and glass rear deck, it cost 13500 which sounds steep but when you see what you get you will see its pretty good.

you can just buy the kit then buy as you go, the kit is 7500 i think, not to sure what comes with that, best speaking to dna.

are you going stoneliegh, im down sunday if you fancy a chat.

Oh im working on compiling a list of everything inc pics of whats included so ill post that soon.

PS, the one thing that let the 430 down was the exhaust, it sounded good but not like a ferrari, well not no more, they have fixed that too!!!

Dosen't sound so bad to tell you  the truth  considering the amount of stuff you get in the kit. Ive looked at some  build threads here and the kits look exstensive!. Anyhows im gonna try and make it down Stonleigh, if your around we can grab a few beers!  Grin Grin If I can't make it have a good one anyway and take soe picsand postthe up of other peoples F430's. It would be interesting to see what other people are at!! I was down at the ferrari garage today to take some photos and look a some details I mite wanna add to my car. I see everybody seems to forget the wire mesh that that sits round the engine cover at the rear so im  thinking they don't supply that part r did you get it with your kit? There is a few more details but I really do think DNA have covered everything!! Dude do you know what dimensions the kit works out at. The real F430 looks pretty lengthy to me! not sure what the kit mite look like?? Did you get a look at DNA's F430  when you were up getting your parts? Whats your honest opinion if you got to look at it, is it as good in real life as in the youtube vid??
Rite man gotta go hope to see some pics soon of your build. Good Luck!!

Yes, you get the mesh that fits to the engine cover, Infact you get all the mesh, regarding the dimensions im not sure, i can do you a mesure once its fitted to the car, all i was concerned about is the car needs to look correct and also be massive, And trust me, its massive, Its the width of a transit.

Yes, when i went to collect me kit Madman was collecting his car after having the roof done and it looked amazing, there was also a factory car being collected by the customer and that looked amazing too, it had cream leather and finished in red, There was another one having a few finishing touches added, another one ready for trimming and another one ready for paint, the vids dont do the car justice, the 430 not only looks awsome it looks real!! you really need to see to believe.

So then colour ? seats ?

Just interested to know how much the track is widened by and what it does to the steering and suspension geometry  -  when I did a turbo body upgrade to my 911 it caused all sorts of issues as all I did was add spacers to it instead of changing to turbo brakes and suspension (lack of money)

Hi Steve, Yes your right with the box thing, ive labeled everything up and still im left with a few bits and bobs that im unsure of.

Im not to sure on colour, i have a few ideas, something a little out-of the ordinary, infact anything but red is unusual.

Heres a pic of the fake engine, i couldnt resist but to paint it, a few tubes and its done :-)

Actually, I have to say the darkish Steel Blue Metallic of the replica from one of the other posts (or did I see it somewhere else???) is very nice, at least in the pics anyway  -  If I ever get a chance to own one of these babies it will be a playoff between that colour and gun metal grey. I am with you on Chiarosso red (or whatever it is called these days)  -  love it and all that but prefer other colours..... which makes me wonder if anyone has ever seen a white 360 or 430.

That blue colour will probably be mine - Tour de France Blue - which you'd have seen in the SouthEast build thread. (and, yes, it actually looks as good, if not better when you see it for real - but then I might be just a little biased!  Grin  Grin  Grin )

Yours looks great though it wasn't the one I was thinking of  -  it is this one..... steel blue is more the colour .... I thought for a minute that I had remembered it incorrectly, but some of the pics are poorly lit (which makes one think this wunderkind who claims to have created this car on a CNC, could've taken better pics!!!!!) making the car look darker.

eventually i can get moving, i have managed to find a 53 plate MR2, a straight car in mint condition for the right money, i collect her on satrurday and she is going straight to the garage for a service and good overhaul before i start work so with any luck mid next week ill be playing. it has been good this time round to spend time on the panels, cutting the vents out etc, labeling parts and preping for paint, it means that i wont end up covering the car i dust and im one step ahead.  Grin

Hopefully this time next week ill have some pics with some progress

Well i started at 9.00, moved everything out of the garage and cleaned up, had to avoid a few light showers but all in all the rain has held off, ive removed all the panels and sat the rear on the car, wow what a fit, its only sat on and it seems to have locked in place, i now need to move all the old panels to my rear garden and picture them for sale, all In all not bad for 4hrs.

heres some pics, more to follow soon.

DNA - do i need to remove the heat shield over the exhaust, another thought if i dont fit the diffuser can you guys remove the old exhaust and replace in the SS with the kit fitted, if so i can save fitting the exhaust??
