Yes indeed, the SW20 Spider.

There is a guy, Headcase, on the TwoBrutal forum who is converting a standard mk2 MR2, to a 2GR powered Spider. Link below:

In the meantime, here is a couple photos of a SW20 MR2 Spider.

The body kitted one looks pretty sweet, shame about the short soft top though.

Beany ;D

Looks a great car but looks so much better with the hood down rather than up! Cheers Beany  :)

What do people think of this:

Its sitting very high but can be sorted I guess. Looks like a Dave Jones kit as the front lights are short and still has the MR2 rear quarter glass (unlike the Extreme?)

It looks and reads like a ripper car. If half the stated work has been done it should be great. Gaps look ok for what it is. Tailpipes look ridiculous but that's a breeze to fix. Interior isn't my taste at all but black mats would help a whole lot.

Rear quarter glass looks ok to me but I've never been close to these reps so am uncertain how much of a 'tell' that and the front lights are - you clearly do though, so it comes down to whether those aspects are deal breakers or not, modifiable or not etc.
