458 replica
« on: March 07, 2013, 12:51:24 PM »
Hello,

I'm not sure if you guys have already come across this on Youtube but apparently there is a guy in Mexico who have made a replica of the 458,
I am no expert but it does not look proportionate to me, something seems to be wrong. you could see the pictures of the interior too, which looks not too bad, what really caught me on this is that there is no gearbox handle on the central console, that is something that I would have loved to see in the DN8,
What do you guys think?

thx,

No i would never buy from them, i was just curious how they could get that central console as close to the original, but still it doesnt look that good with those cheap red bottons,
i doubt it's the original the steering wheel looks cheap too.

It appears to be a decent replica,
*Edit, just stumbled across this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtE0wg948L4
It seems to be the same car. The donor has a mid engine setup and custom frame (not sure the donor) Engine can be seen at 1:03 with a hardtop and windshield fit.
